Period Performanceby Tampon Tribe

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 8, 2026 · Tampon Tribe, Inc.

Our promise Your cycle data is yours. We never sell it, never use it for ads, and never share it with anyone you haven't chosen.

This policy covers the Period Performance app and periodperformance.com, made by Tampon Tribe, Inc. ("we", "us"), 2609 Brighton Ave, Suite B, Los Angeles, CA.

What we collect

Only what you enter or choose to connect:

We don't collect your precise location, contacts or photos.

How we use it

We use your data only to run the app for you:

Where it's stored

Your data is saved on your phone. Today the app doesn't require an account, and your cycle data isn't uploaded to our servers. If we add optional accounts in a future update and you create one, your data will also be backed up to secure cloud servers so you can restore it on a new phone. We'll update this policy and tell you in the app before that happens.

Data we handle is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access on our side is limited to the few people who need it to keep the app running. Waitlist emails are stored securely with our website host, Netlify.

Coach Mika

When you ask Coach Mika a question, the app sends your question, along with your cycle day, phase, sports and a short summary of your recent check-ins, to our AI provider, Anthropic, so Mika can give you a personal answer. We never send your name or email. The information is used only to answer your question. If you'd rather not share it, simply don't use Coach Mika. Everything else in the app works without it.

Who we share it with

We never sell your data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it to target ads. We share it only in these cases:

Your choices

These rights apply wherever you live, including under California (CCPA), Washington (My Health My Data Act) and EU/UK (GDPR) law. We won't treat you differently for using them.

Consumer health data

Some states, including Washington and Nevada, have specific laws about consumer health data. The information you enter in Period Performance, such as your cycle, symptoms and training, is consumer health data.

The fine print

Not medical advice. Period Performance gives general education and training ideas. It isn't a medical device, can't diagnose anything and isn't birth control. Talk to a doctor about health concerns.

Age. The app is for people 13 and older. If we learn we've collected data from a child under 13, we'll delete it.

Changes. If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect.
